Dear Young Friends,
As we mark the 20th anniversary of Seven Borough Youth Association International Inc., we remember a journey that began in New York on Nov 17, 2009, inaugurated by Hon. Vayalar Ravi. For two decades, this charity has served with compassion—providing sewing machines to needy women, goats to families, scholarships to technology and nursing students, and offering medical camps and aid. Today, its central mission shines clearly in Karuvattah, Adoor: educating the underprivileged through this full-scale library, approved by the municipal government and established in memory of late Ponnamma Das. More than 250 families are already benefiting.
This library is more than a building; it is a doorway to purpose. No matter your present situation, you can build your future with intentional daily effort. Discover your calling. Study with focus. Strive for excellence in every area —academics, skills, discipline, and character.
Remember to care for your health: eat healthy, exercise, drink water, sleep well. A strong body and a trained mind work together—and this library will help you gain the knowledge you need.
I warmly encourage you: use this library often. Read beyond your textbooks. Participate in community programs. Form study groups. Ask questions. Dream boldly, and work faithfully each day.
May your education become the light that leads your family and community forward.
