ABOUT


Seven Borough Youth Association International Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) charity organization. Its funds are established from individuals, businessmen, and groups with one goal in common - the desire to make a difference in the underprivileged kids in southern Kerala, India. The association and its volunteers have immense pleasure to serve the youth with projects like scholarships, health education, uniforms, conducting medical camps etc, based in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Our mission is to make education accessible to children living under the poverty line in rural and tribal areas. Our vision is to reach out to the kids who do not have the resources to get the education they deserve.


The Organization is committed to improving the quality of life for the underdeveloped kids of Kerala, India increasing charitable giving in the mission to connect people with the causes that make the most of them for the creation of funds across a wide range of interests. We have over 5000 books in our library. The library project began in 2005 and has been approved by the local govt. and the groundbreaking ceremony was done on the 13th of July, 2011 by the Municipal chairman accompanied by the FOKANA officials.


Our organization is governed by a local board of directors and an advisory board comprised of community leaders from the private sects.

Hon. VALAYAR RAVI INAGURATED SEVEN BOROUGHS YOUTH INTERNATIONAL


New York, November 2009: Seven Borough Youth International, the youth division of the meritorious social welfare society "Seven Borough" inaugurated by Sri Vayalar Ravi minister for "Pravasi" affairs, Govt. of India. Chairman Mr. Mathai P. Das and his accomplices warmly welcomed the central minister and his team to the crowded meeting co-hosted by FOKANA and the Seven Borough, attended by the dignitaries invited from and around New York and suburban areas to the banquet hall of Taste of India restaurant.

Sri. Mathai P. Das eloqently briefed the two decades old association's impact on the less fortunate and socially backward human beings. Started humbly, the association provided sewing machines to many needy woman's, scholarships to the hundreds of 'techno bound students' donating goats to several families, conducted medical camps and helped financially for those who diagnosed for further medical treatments.

The name seven boroughs are selected because the beneficiaries of the schemes are mainly located around the 'Thiruvanathapuram' and nearby seven places. Sri. Mathai P. Das a long term NRI who lived in New York with his extended families had a successful career track record of hardworking and achievements. His humble beginnings and love to the Lord God thrust open the way of helping and educate the very needy among us and his visions emphasis the success is made only through the technical education of the youngsters. One of his dream projects is a full scale top of the library which is already started at 'Andoor' un Pathanamthitta district. At present more than 200 familes receiving benefits from this prestigious project.
